WASHINGTON DC – Even when you know something is going to happen you’re never quite ready for it. Have to go by the Capitol and see if there is anything going on for Ted Kennedy. I was an intern on his education staff along with Terry Hartle, Suzanne Ramos, and Amanda Broun for a little less than a year when he was the Chairman of Labor and Human Resources (now the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee). It was a lot of fun. They hired me on even though I’m from NY and not Massachusetts because I knew a ton about Macs. The office had just become the first 100% Apple Macintosh offices on Capitol Hill. Funny thing. It’s going to be really weird not seeing him around.
