WASHINGTON DC — And with the State of the Union speech last night the transformation from health care to jobs is complete. Did he even mention health care? I don’t remember. And when the cameras started rolling in the spin room that is Statuary Hall it was even clearer: Every Democratic member talked about what the Administration should have been focused on two months ago: Jobs. Most House members were aware of this problem for at least two months. There wasn’t a whole lot they could do to change the minds of the geniuses in the White House who don’t have constituents speaking directly to them as House members and Senators do.
