Section 6 Article 3 of Constitution: Anyone read that? pssst hey you Tea Partiers… wake up. “The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”
It all started last week when GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum said President Obama practices a “phony theology.” The attacks on the first black President of the U.S. in a constant attempt to make him into something “un-American” and “foreign” continue into the religious category.
