Tweet if You “Have His Back”

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) will hold a “Have his Back” Twitter meet-up with Members of the Congressional Black Caucus during the first full day of the Republican National Convention. The “Have His Back” campaign is a part of the DCCC’s effort to increase outreach to the African American community and encourage down ballot voting to have President Obama’s back and to help House Democrats win.

“House Republicans have one single goal: to make Barack Obama a one term president,” said Krystal Glass of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “We’re taking our Have his Back message to the voters on Twitter so everyone knows that to have President Obama’s back, they need to vote for a Democratic Congress that will work with him, not the Republican Congress dead set against him.”

At HaveHisBack.com voters can pledge to have President Obama’s back, register to vote, and find important tools to spread the word in their community.
