Yeah it’s quiet… seems like I remember getting at least 6 or 7 e-mails on the Hispanic Policy Conference… and that was 2-days and involved a cast of at least 50 to 60 Admin officials… but anyway. Today, there is a White House African American Policy Conference. You can see the whole thing here. The bad news is there is a lot of droning on — but that’s a given at these things. The good news is after Don Graves (you know him, the guy Rep. Maxine Waters challenged to say the words “Tea Party” and “Black” in Miami during the CBC jobs tour…) droned on regarding a list of policy initiatives pushed by CBC (Waters + Watt)– most noticeably Rep. Maxine Waters’ push for the Office of Minority Inclusion in the Dodd-Frank legislation — Michael Strautmanis gave the CBC a big fat shoutout. So the CBC/WH thaw continues…
