NFL Players Meet with CBC Members on Justice Reform

Five NFL players met with various members of Congress this week on issues of justice and how the Black community is treated by law enforcement.

The players were Detroit Lions wide receiver Anquan Boldin, Lions safety Glover Quin, Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins, and Browns quarterback Josh McCown.

On November 15, the players sat down with six members of the Black Caucus and talked about the “huge mistrust” between the black community and law enforcement. The athletes also talked to House Speaker Paul Ryan.
