WHY: The ceremonial swearing-in celebrates and honors the new and re-elected members of CBC. This is a time honored tradition in African-American politics to highlight the service of CBC and the contributions that African Americans and people of color have made to our country’s
legislative history. For nearly four decades, CBCF’s stellar internship and fellowshipprograms have paired generations of leaders with African-American members of Congress. In addition, the Foundation has initiated programs to engage Americans in public policy and civic engagement on Capitol Hill and beyond.

So very proud of The Congressional Black Caucus[CBC].Wish I could attend the ceremonial swearing in. However, please keep up the great work!
Diversity of America: Modern representative government requires appealing to Voters of all backgrounds,in all of the Branches of government. The Nation’s growing and great Diversity, should be one of our Strengths…Another thought:…Corruption is a hot button issue,we should provide our own Voices toward improving the Performance of government critics should be Advocating that their Legislators pass” The Code of Conduct Bill.”There-after,they should Advocate that The Congressional Legislature put in place the Systems to implement the bill after it is passed…Today, unlike in the[1980s] when the issue of corruption was placed under the rug and not discussed; corruption is a Hot Button Issue.
