It’s Over… You can have the look and the story and the swagger and the demographics. At some point you also have to have the intelligence. Reciting talking points is Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s calling card along with attacking intellectuals — his slide in the polls show voters care about intelligence. Forget standing across the stage with a much smarter person — say, President Barack Obama. At last night’s debate, Perry could not even remember his own talking points. He painfully could not remember the 3 government agencies he’d gleefully kill along with all those jobs he’d gleefully end. If you’re gonna proffer bad policy the least you can do is remember what it is. Gov. Perry’s timing is painful. This happens a week after a video of him looking odd and seemingly drunk during a speech — that video went viral on YouTube and so will this one…
