   The conditions of minorities are poor health,having poor health in the U.S.cost money,and not just a small amount,but billions of dollars.”Ultimately,those cost are heaped on the backs of poor and minority communities…Health disparities as a whole,which disproportionately affect Blacks and Latinos cost the U.S.economy[$82.2]billion in direct health-care spending and lost productivity in 2009…The price tag for Blacks was a whopping[$54.9]million followed by[$22]billion for Latinos.”And over[90%]of these same cost felt were in Urban Areas…”This among other issues makes eliminating health disparities A National Issue,according to the State of Urban Health…Eliminating Health Disparities to Save Lives and Cut Cost,the recently released report by The National Urban League Policy Institute…Health disparities inflict a significant level of illness,disability,and death on The Nation…In addition to the excess disease and death,health disparities also impose a significant economic burden on Society said report findings…Everyone deserves affordable health-care in The U.S.

   Black Health: ”The glaring realities facing The Black Community’s health and well-being are in a State of Emergency.”Whether it is High Blood Pressure,Diabetes,HIV/AIDS,Various Forms of Cancer or Obesity,Blacks in many cases have the unfortunate distinction as the leading sufferers of these health maladies…Black Men have higher rates of getting and Dying from Prostate Cancer…Black Women are[1.4]times more likely to Die from Breast Cancer than White Women…Blacks are more likely to Die from Asthma…”An estimated[3.7]million or[14.7%] of all Non-Hispanic Blacks age 20 and older have Diabetes,the leading cause of Heart Disease,Stroke and Kidney Disease…These are alarming reports and shows a real need for affordable health-care for everyone…Health-Care Now!
