9% Congress Set to Vote Down Jobless Benefits/Payroll Tax Tonight

Yes American your Congress, sporting the lowest approval ratings in history at 9%, will be back in session tonight.  Will they vote to extend unemployment benefits and the payroll tax to February? No. Instead they will more than likely chose to toss the entire bill into unknown jeopardy.  Will the President agree to what they want to do? Will the Senate come back to vote on it before 2012? Does the Senate have the votes to pass it? Who knows.  Note that no one is wondering why this Congress — led by the newly elected Tea Party House Republicans — has the lowest approvals in history.  This is the Congress that damaged the nation’s credit rating and made the markets plummet over the summer.  Worst Congress in history?  See this article in POLITIC365.
