Yesterday Roll Call did a piece focused on whether or not Jim Clyburn will seek a higher leadership post. The story was complete withe cryptic references that Clyburn may challenge either Hoyer or Pepsi.
But so what?
If the Democrats fail to win back the House and remain in the minority why does its matter whether Clyburn is where he is now or one step up? The minority party controls nothing in the House.
The Democrats are expected o make gains in the House. That sets them up nicely for 2014 and 2016.
