Republican s around the country continue to pass laws to make voting harder. Using the fake reason of widespread “voter fraud” the Republican-controlled House in Michigan passed a law requiring voters to show ID. They also passed a law making it harder for groups such as the League of Women Voters to hold registration drives (what does that have to do with fraud?).
And of course, they passed a law that unregisters voters who fail to respond to an inquiry regarding registration status. Does any of this make voting easier? Of course not. Who is passing these types of laws in every case? Republicans who know the country’s demographics are trending against them.
Michigan is another Florida,Texas,Georgia,Alabama and The Carolinas. Subject: Citizen and Constituent Feedback of Georgia. Under Paid (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistants are actually Getting Short Changed in (GEORGIA).
I have a Daughter who is currently a State Certified Nursing Assistant of Georgia, and right now she is clearly Getting Short Changed. From my understanding, according to my own research and that is (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant are actually considered a “Middle” Class Job; because of the Heavy Lifting involved and possible injuries, according to Lawyers and the United Health Care Workers Union of America. So, therefore, I would like to know why is this so? lets see.
First of all, my daughter actually told me that she have always imagined that Good Health Care given Trained (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistants, Certified Phlebotomist and (All) Health Care Trained Professionals is suppose to be the Corner Stone of good Health Care, but that does (Not) seem to be the case in the State of Georgia.
Case in point, my daughter attended School for (CNA) Training (Two) years ago. She has been working as a Trained (CNA) for over a year in a half. So why is my daughter being Under Paid, and Under worked, and Not given adequate hours to suppport herself, and advance her Medical Career yet? She can Not seem to find adequate work here in (GEORGIA) for her professsion to advance her career.
For instance, my daughter is currently Empployed with REM-KIKS Health Care Services, located at 3448 Mountain Drive, Decatur, Georgia 30032. The Office number is (404) 294-1995/1996; whereas she does Private Duty Nursing as a (CNA)/Caregiver for (Five) days per week at (Only) Two hours per day. REM-KIKS Health Care Services is (Only) paying my daughter $8.50 per hour at (Ten) hours per week. You do the Math. And this is (Not) even enough to pay for her transportation. Gas is $3.50 per gallon, and up. She can’t pay her rent, she is constantly moving in and out with different relatives. She has a Son to support. She has recently addressed this issue with REM-KIKS Health Care Services regarding this Company Not giving her adequate hours. Therefore, she can Not simply pay her bills. And that she “Needs” more hours. Her Supervisor, Ms. Beverly, LPN told my daugher two weeks ago that she is going to contact the Case Manager, and see about “getting” my daughter more hours”. Unfortunately, as of today, June 16, 2012; my daugher still have (Not) gotten more hours.
My daugher told me that her client have also contacted his Case Manager on June 15, 2012; approximately around 2:30 p.m., and he left a brief voice mail message for the Case Manager to return his call because he needed to talk to her about increasing my daughter hours to provide Quality Health Care for him because (Two) hours is “Not” enough hours. From my understanding, the client is in grave conditions. He actually should be in a Hospital, and or a High Quality Health Care Facility because he requires around the clock Quality Health Care. These Private Home Health Care Agencies such as REM-KIKS Health Care Services do Not have the proper Medical History of the Patient. Yes, they do have a Care Plan for my (CNA) daughter to follow and go by, but it is Not monitored by trained Health Care Professionals on a daily basis. Not to mention, my daughter even told me that she actually seen on her future client’s Care Plan whereas REM-KIKS Health Care Services had even made a simple mistake on her Client’s Sex Gender by mistaken her female name as a male gender listed on her Client Care Plan. Folks, even a simple mistake like this can even cause a Life and Death situation. Overall, this is terrible.
The bottom line is Dollars and Money is Over Quality Health Care in the State of Georgia. Not to mention, Corruption and Ignorance in Georgia government and Health Care system because it is Not govern right which clearly explains why many Skilled Nurses such as CNA’s, LPN”s and RN”s are actually leaving Georgia because Georgia does Not want to pay its Nurses fair wages with a Middle class job.
