The House Oversight Committee, controlled by Rep. Darrell Issa, will of course proceed with a vote on Wednesday to hold the Attorney General in contempt of Congress. Of anyone is surprised they should not be.
Just as the Attorney General was becoming more aggressive regarding voter pure issues in Florida — what coincidence — the House GOP schedules this vote. And only 139 days before the election? I would never have guessed.
The politics of distraction are never ending. The story of fast and furious began during the Bush Administration. Yet somehow Holder is held responsible for thing that happened before he took over DoJ. It should be interesting.
