Today the NAACP ended their Justice summer March at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
A surprise participant was Vermont Senator a presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Sen. Sanders stood next to NAACP President Cornell Brooks as they walked across the Memorial Bridge near Arlington Cemetary in Washington DC.
Marching with them were Black Caucus members including Chairman G.K. Butterfield, Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton and Reps. Jim Clyburn, Sandord Bishop and Bobby Scott.
Sanders talked policy with six Black Caucus members last week.
About two hundred marches gathered at the podium at the Lincoln Memorial for the usual speeches at the end.
