Several members of the Congressional Black Caucus are planning on going on a CODEL to Haiti this weekend. If the weather permits it that is… Reps. Maxine Waters and Kendrick Meek have been to the country since it was struck by a huge 7.0 earthquake on January 12 but the two lawmakers were traveling on their own money and time. The State Department advised members to hold off on official trips until things were more stable and of course the members complied. More will be learned as the day goes on and I will report back with the details later in the day.
