CHARLIE WATCH ONE. With 98 days left on the House legislative calendar, this endless Charlie Rangel investigation has to come to an end within three months time. Incredibly, it took the House Ethics Committee an eternity to conclude that five members of Congress who took Ethics pre-approved trips to St. Maarten and Antigua were innocent. With election filing deadlines closing in and election day 2010 246 days away something has to happen soon. Note that Charlie Rangel, unlike John Conyers and John Dingell, has not yet announced that he will run for re-election. Is he waiting for the decision to come down first or is he just playing coy?
